Bio

Ignacio Castro is seasoned IT consultant with extensive experience leading nearshore software development teams and delivering projects to large global clients. During his career, he has work for global organizations like Chiquita Brands, PanAmerican Health Organization, Intel Corporation, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and World Vision International. In 2011, he joined NTT Data and has been involved on strategy and custom application development projects for customers like S&P, Citibank and Banco Santander. Ignacio also founded a non-profit called Startup Costa Rica with the goal of supporting entrepreneurs from Costa Rica with their business development efforts, as well as specific initiatives in the country to promote entrepreneurship. He received an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, and an Industrial Engineering and a Computer Science degrees from Universidad de Costa Rica.
