Bio

Tom is the Group Executive Vice President (Ret), with responsibility for Information Technology, JCP.com, Corporate Strategy and Planning, and Digital Ventures. Tom joined JCPenney as Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer in 2006. Prior to JCPenney, Tom was a partner with The Feld Group and served as the Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer at Southwest Airlines. Prior to this, he was the CIO at Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo. Tom received the 2010 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium Award for Innovation Leadership and was recognized by Information Week as a “Premiere 100 CIO’” in 2006. Tom received a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University and an MBA from the University of Dallas.
